Hobart’s Allegri Ensemble Chamber Choir is thrilled to be celebrating the 250^th anniversary of Joseph Haydn’s exuberant and joyous Missa Cellensis, written for the pilgrimage church of Mariazell, Austria (also known as Mass for Zell, or Mass for St. Cecilia). This has been made possible by the support of a Hobart City Council Creative Hobart Grant.

Both performances will feature a 19-part classical orchestra and esteemed soloists Molly Ryan (soprano), Sally-Anne Russell (alto), Jiacheng Ding (tenor) and Samuel Dundas (bass). Join us as we transform the Hobart Town Hall into an intimate classical ‘salon’ – you will feel very much a part of the performance!
