In this fabulously entertaining hour of music for the Christmas season, Douglas Lawrence and the ACC8 treat you to a historical ‘pick of the pops’, from the late 1400s to the end of the Baroque period and beyond, including works from their Baroque Christmas CD. The possibilities are endless, so the program will be strikingly different from previous concerts on the same theme. Barney Schwartz, writing in the Sydney Morning Herald stated “Most of the works are little known, but they are full of beauty, serenity and elegance”.
