Balmain Baroque: urban Baroque music

Balmain Baroque is a 6-piece Baroque group, with soprano/baroque flute, violin, cello, harpsichord and two(!) recorders. They have been playing together since 1995. The group has their own harpsichord, essentially the 7th member of the band. They play at baroque pitch, a semitone lower than modern pitch.

  • Lucy-Rose Steggles: cello
  • Donn Mendoza: harpsichord

Program:

The concert will feature works by Vivaldi, Handel, Hotteterre and Corelli.
