The 2023 Bowral Autumn Music Festival will be the seventeenth. In 2023 the festival will build on the success of the Education Days introduced in 2020, it will continue to include Australian compositions and commission and will present some of the rich heritage from the past.

The festival will celebrate the joy of playing chamber music, considered by many as the pinnacle of music making!

You will hear some of our country’s crème de la crème performers – violinist Francesca Hiew, cellist Richard Narroway, flautist Sally Walker, trumpeter David Elton, trombonist Scott Kinmont, and pianists Vatche Jambazian, Vivian Choi Milton and Laurence Matheson.

The festival also welcomes the Luminescence Chamber Singers, organist David Reccia Chynoweth, and the Highlands Music Collective with soloist Cedar-Rose Newman.

The important Musica Floreat Concert and Education Day Workshops will again provide an opportunity for young musicians to showcase their talents and there will be exciting premieres of new works by Australian composers Sally Greenaway, Andrew Ford, Elena Kats-Chernin plus much more…
