Caro String Quartet performs Tchaikovsky
5 April 2020 @ 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm AEST$35
Caro String Quartet is composed of artists from the Australian Opera and Ballet Orchestra which plays all the Opera House performances.
For this concert Caro String Quartet performers Catalin Ungureanu (first violin), Airena Nakamura (second violin), Neil Thompson (viola) and Kenichi Mizushima (cello) will play two works by Tchaikovsky: String Quartet no. 1, and ‘Souvenir de Florence’. They will be joined by guest artists Paul Ghica on cello and Sophie Nickel.
This is the concert we have been looking forward to performing since we had to postpone, for unforeseen circumstances, in November this year.
We finally get to perform it next year on April 5th at 2pm and we are looking forward to it very much.
A program of Tchaikovsky’s glorious music. It you love Tchaikovsky’s music, this is the concert for you. If you don’t like Tchaikovsky, we challenge ourselves to make you change your mind!
The program is Tchaikovsky’s ‘String Quartet No.1’ and we are delighted to have guest artists, Paul Ghica on cello and Sophie Nickel join us in Tchaikovsky’s string sextet ‘Souvenir de Florence’.
We look forward to seeing you there.
