Chamber Works : Czech and Australian Music for 2 Flutes with Piano

22 May @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm AEST

$15 - $25

Our journey starts with a piece by Baroque composer J.S Bach, before expanding to cover more than two hundred and fifty years of repertoire; moving from Australia to America, from C.P.E Bach’s gallant style to virtuoso romantic pieces by Ciardi and Hughes. Guided by a dynamic Australian-Czech trio, the musical traveller will encounter highlights of the playful 20th century, where anything is possible. In the end, everyone will find something tasy – even a “French Toast” by Gary Schocker is available.
