“An ensemble needs that impossible-to-describe extra ingredient… and this group has it in spades.” (Steve Moffatt, News Limited)
From its humble origins as four music students busking on the streets of Sydney, the last decade has seen the Enigma Quartet establish a reputation as one of the country’s brightest and most versatile professional young string quartets. This intrepid foursome is united by friendship and a shared passion for chamber music and live performance. Enigma made their Huntington Festival debut in 2014, and were invited to perform in Musica Viva’s Coffee Concert Series in 2015 and 2013.
This is Prelude in Tea concert presented by the Independent Theatre. Scrumptious afternoon tea served from 2:30pm, stellar chamber music concert at 3:30pm. It’s the perfect Sunday afternoon out.
