Evening Concert Series – Elder Conservatorium Symphony Orchestra

Prize winning conductor James Lowe takes charge of the Elder Conservatorium Symphony Orchestra for two exhilarating works. Beethoven’s heroic Emperor Concerto, a perennial favourite, features honours pianist Simon Pazos Quintana.

Rimsky Korsakov’s passionate and dramatic Scheherazade is inspired by tales of the Arabian Nights.

Free concert to follow – Nordic Lights

Following a 30 minute interval from the conclusion of the 26 May ECSO concert, the Conservatorium’s recently formed new music ensemble, Elder Music Lab, will perform works by leading Nordic composers, as well as premiering a new student work. Bookings not required.
