Ristretto Chamber Choir and The Bourbaki Ensemble will be performing Handel’s Four Coronation Anthems interspersed with stunning new music by Sydney composer Marlowe Fitzpatrick and Arvo Part’s Da pacem Domine.

Ristretto Chamber Choir
The Ristretto Chamber Choir are invited members of the Leichhardt Espresso Chorus, who enjoy a musical challenge and an extended repertoire. Ristretto performs in a variety of concerts and private events. Under the Artistic Direction of Michelle Leonard OAM, Ristretto has performed Christmas Carols at The Heritage and Houses Trust at Vaucluse House and for City of Sydney Council, Classics at Callan Park and with the Song Company in “Howls of the House” in Canberra and Sydney. Recent concerts include Rossini’s Petite Messe Solennelle and in April 2017 Ristretto joined with Melbourne’s Choristry choir presenting combined concerts of new Australian choral music in Sydney and Melbourne.
The Bourbaki Ensemble
The Bourbaki Ensemble is a chamber string orchestra based in Newtown. Its first concert was given in February 2001 and consisted of works by Dvorak, Sculthorpe, Debussy and Mahler; since then, the ensemble has attracted acclaim for its imaginative programming and its support of Australian composers. Bourbaki’s concerts since then have included over a dozen world premieres, including some works especially written for Bourbaki concerts.
