“A True Artist” – Paco Pena
Matthew Fagan is a guitarist blessed with great charisma. Everything he does on the instrument draws you into his world. He is a virtuoso player—…Particularly in his arrangements of Spanish and Irish material, there is a fullness and idiomatic quality to the workmanship that indicate superior musicianship. This is the sort of guitar [performance] that touches the sensibilities even of listeners to whom classical music is a quite alien experience. The playing is magnetic, and the repertoire is invigorating. Highly recommended. – Dave Saemann- Fanfare Magazine
