Melbourne Chamber Players | Night Terrors
14 August 2021 @ 8:00 pm - 9:00 pm AEST$22
Matt Laing draws us into the perplexing world of hypnagogia; the state between being awake and asleep. In this world premiere, Laing’s Night Terrors transports us into an imaginative dream-state, exploring the vivid darkness after we close our eyes.
Bookended by Paul Juon’s charming yet rarely heard Trio-Miniaturen and the intoxicating Clarinet Trio in A minor, Op. 114 by Johannes Brahms, this is a performance not to be missed.
Trio-Miniaturen for Clarinet, Cello and Piano, Op.18/24
Night Terrors (2020) *World Premiere*
Clarinet Trio in A minor, Op.114
Performance is approximately 1hr in duration.
This project has been assisted by the Australian Government through the Australia Council for the Arts Resilience Fund, its arts funding and advisory body.
