Young Mannheim Symphonists | National ONLINE Spring Academy

The Australian Romantic & Classical Orchestra is delighted to present the Young Mannheim Symphonists National ONLINE Spring Academy, directed by Rachael Beesley and Nicole van Bruggen.
Students are welcome to register for the two-day program featuring guest speakers Anthea Cottee and Dr Neal Peres da Costa, masterclasses by Australian Romantic & Classical Orchestra’s Principal Musicians plus Q&A mentoring sessions.

Who: These sessions are recommended for musicians aged 15-23 years who are interested in Historically Informed Performance.
Historically Informed Performance lectures investigating primary and secondary sources, guest presentations “Motivation and Peak Performance” by registered psychologist and musician Anthea Cottee and “Classical & Romantic Style and Performance” by Associate Dean of Research and Professor of Historical Performance at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music Dr Neal Peres da Costa, masterclasses with Australian Romantic & Classical Orchestra Principal Musicians, Q&A mentoring sessions
Cost: $60 per participant
