Newcastle Music Festival 2019 | Animal Tales

Tickets (including a Convent-made afternoon tea): $25 adult | $10 school student | $5 pre-schoolers | $60 family (2 adults + 2 children)

The Animal Tales Prom concert is an excellent opportunity for your students to go on an exciting and amazing adventure through some much loved classical music masterpieces as well as some well-known favourites. The Animal Tales program includes two children’s stories – The Pied Piper of Hamelin by Robert Browning and Henry Lawson’s classic Australian short story- The Loaded Dog. These stories will be narrated by Ghillian Sullivan and Carl Caulfield and further enhanced by colourful orchestral scores bringing together a unique collaboration of music and words.

Young kids can sit down the front to be close to the action – BYO cushion for them to sit on the tiled floor; some cushions will be supplied…

Kids! Come dressed as your favourite mouse – you never know where the Pied Piper might lead you!!

Enjoy the Sacred Spaces’ country hospitality at a delicious Convent-made afternoon tea.
