Phoenix Collective’s first concert program of 2021, Knife in the Boot, features Maggie Ferguson, founder of TangoOz and a legend in her own right.
With Maggie on bandoneon, Edward Neeman on piano, Isabella Brown on Double Bass and PC director & violinist Dan Russell; the ensemble will explore early and traditional works from the birthplace of Tango, Buenos Aires and works by the father of Nuevo Tango, Astor Piazzolla.
Not the usual Hollywood, rose-in-the-teeth, but the knife in the boot style of Tango.
