Selby & Friends: From Russia with Love

7 July @ 2:30 pm - 4:30 pm AEST

Selby & Friends From Russia

Selby & Friends takes listeners on a musical tour of composers who were influenced by Russia, either by having been born and bred there or receiving patronage or assistance from Russian nobles. This is a fascinating program of variety and depth with stunning violinist Daniel Dodds and ACO Principal Cellist Timo-Veikko Valve reuniting again with pianist Kathryn Selby for this tour de force of virtuosity and soaring melody. Duos and trios by Beethoven, Scriabin, Debussy, Tachaikovsky and Rachmaninov make for a hearty winter treat.
