Sydney Mozart Society: The Sydney Soloists

If you become a member of the Society, your annual membership fee covers entry to all concerts in the season. This works out at only $28 per concert (and $8 per concert for student members)

This concert was previously advertised as the Verbrugghen Ensemble. The musicians will now perform as the Sydney Soloists.

The members of the Sydney Soloists are well known to Australian and international audiences for their orchestral, solo and ensemble performances. All hold principal performer positions in the Sydney Symphony Orchestra. They are consummate musicians who perform the masterpieces of the chamber music repertoire with passion, intelligence and exhilarating technique.

The Sydney Soloists members are Andrew Haveron (violin), Roger Benedict (viola), Umberto Clerici (‘cello), Alex Henery (double bass), Francesco Celata (clarinet), Todd Gibson-Cornish (bassoon) and Robert Johnson (horn).

Their programme revels in the interplay of strings, clarinet, bassoon and horn.
