DESCRIPTION:Mozart and More – in the amazing acoustic of Long Gully Uniting Church – will be a concert to remember.\nWith Mozart’s mighty Flute Concerto in G major as the centrepiece\, performed by the outstanding Masahide Kurita as the soloist\, mentored by Sir James Galway himself\, and with Thomas Heywood as the orchestra on the beautiful pipe organ in Long Gully\, this program fully explores the “and More” aspect too with highlights from Handel\, Boehm (yes\, ‘the’ Boehm of Flute legend)\, and Morlacchi’s virtuosic Swiss Shepherd. Who needs a steak-knife commercial when you have this kind of “and More”! \n  \n\n\n\n\nKeys of Gold is back in 2026!\n\n\n\n\nFollowing a spectacular debut in 2025\, Keys of Gold returns for its second year\, once again celebrating Bendigo’s remarkable collection of instruments and venues. Presented by Bendigo Fine Music\, the festival will unfold across twelve stunning spaces\, featuring thirty-two incredible instruments and one hundred and seventy-five world-class performers. \nAcross four weekends in July\, audiences will be treated to sixteen unforgettable concerts that bring to life the beauty\, history and artistry of Bendigo’s musical heritage. From historic churches to intimate settings\, every performance promises a rich and immersive experience.
