A concert of diverse new music, Of Rivers & Trees brings together works by eight Australian composers in an evocative program exploring landscape, memory and imagination.
The concert features music by Johanna Selleck, Alan Holley, Andrian Pertout, Paul Moulatlet, Haydn Reeder, Philip Czaplowski, Colin McKellar and Ken Murray.
Performed by an outstanding group of artists including soprano Elspeth Bawden, bass flautist Peter Sheridan, guitarist Ken Wei, trumpeter Joel Brennan, pianist Kevin Tamanini and flautist Johanna Selleck, the program offers a rich variety of contemporary musical voices and instrumental colours.
