Opera Bites brings best-loved opera hits to the relaxed atmosphere of your local pub.
Opera Bites has partnered with the Keg & Brew Hotel in Surry Hills to bring you the world’s favourite opera highlights in the relaxed environs of a great local pub.
Tickets include a 90-minute, fully costumed show, upstairs at The Keg & Brew. Show starts 7.30pm.
Fabulous food and drinks available for separate purchase at the venue. All day kitchen open till 10pm for pre-, mid- or post-show dining.
Opera Plot . . . or Not?
Whether it’s outer space, under the sea, the real world or some time in history, operas have some of the craziest plots and characters you could possibly imagine – no matter how much you’ve seen or read! Come and join Opera Bites in a fun evening of opera favourites. We’ll disentangle some of the wildest opera plots you’ve ever heard of – you’ll be amazed (and entertained) by just how zany some of the real plots are, but we might throw in some made up ones to keep you on your toes!
Early bookings are highly recommended as our Opera in the Pub events regularly sell out.
The Level 2 Function Room also has lift access. Ample street parking available (some metered and some free after 6pm). Central Station and Light Rail is a 2 minute walk away.
