Dance music from J S Bach beautiful Partitas – a suite for solo keyboard, and an assemblage of movements adapted for recorder from Bach’s works for various solo instruments, each defined by distinctive rhythmic motifs, and imparting a gentle fluidity.

His remarkable Sonata BWV 1030 is composed for obbligato harpsichord and in this reconstruction in G minor, baroque oboe takes the melody line.
