James Aylward & Ryan Williams present a program of music that highlights a sound world of shifting textures. These two performers are specialists in extending the sonic possibilities of their respective instruments and this program of solos and duos allows them to journey through states of musical transformation.

Responding to both contemporary notated music and improvised works James and Ryan are excited to share new sounds for the bassoon and the recorder with Melbourne audiences.
